At Forevermore Momentos, our story began not just with a love for weddings—but with a mission to protect brides from heartbreak and disappointment. Time and time again, we saw beautiful brides-to-be scammed by low-quality wedding products or left empty-handed when their orders never arrived in time for their big day. We knew something had to change.
Forevermore Momentos is the creative lovechild of Chené and Illze, two passionate designers with a deep-rooted history of working magic together. Our journey started at the University of Pretoria, where we both completed honours degrees in Information Design. It was there that we discovered our shared drive for visual storytelling and high-impact design.
Shortly after graduation, we founded Red Crayon Design—a creative studio that flourished with big-name contracts, design awards, and a reputation for delivering exceptional work. While our personalities couldn’t be more different—Illze, the intellectual perfectionist with a sharp eye for detail, and Chené, the warm, bubbly people-person who brings joy into every room—we found that our differences made us stronger. Together, we created magic.
As life moved forward, so did we. We both got married, started families, and experienced the joys (and chaos) of motherhood. Illze eventually moved to the charming town of Heidelberg, Gauteng, where she founded Forevermore Moments, an intimate riverfront wedding venue known for its rustic-modern charm and fairytale magic.
As Forevermore Moments grew, so did the demand from couples for thoughtful, high-quality wedding extras—custom invitations, personalized favours, wedding newspapers, guest gifts, signage, and more. And so, Forevermore Momentos was born.
Forevermore Momentos was created from the same values that built our design careers: quality, creativity, and care. Our mission is simple:

We're combining our decades of design experience, our deep understanding of the wedding industry, and our creative energies to serve bridal couples across South Africa and beyond.
